Agency for Integration & Civic Integration

As of 1 January 2022, the amended Civic Integration Decree enters into force. To clearly present the renewed trajectory, we developed an animated video that visualizes the entire process.

After the initial intake interview, each newcomer is assigned a trajectory coach. This guidance forms the common thread throughout the entire process and supports the newcomer in self-reflection and in developing a tailored life and career path. The civic integration trajectory consists of four mandatory components, for which we collaborated with Flan Caramel to produce a video for each component. One of these videos is dedicated to the participation trajectory.

The aim of the participation trajectory is to promote integration by creating a social network around the newcomer. This optional component, which lasts 40 hours, is intended for individuals who are working or studying, as well as other eligible participants. Examples of activities include volunteer work, buddy initiatives, and internships.

The video is intentionally paced a bit more slowly to accommodate the non-native audience.

2D explainer video

An explainer video is ideal for non-native audiences in a civic integration trajectory because it presents complex information visually and in a simple way. Through animations and visuals, viewers can understand the content more easily, even with limited language skills. The videos can be watched repeatedly, which supports the learning process. Moreover, they provide a consistent and clear message that helps prevent misunderstandings and increases viewer engagement and motivation. This makes the integration process more accessible and effective for everyone.
