KLASSE is a multimedia communication platform that empowers and connects teachers, principals, parents, and students.

Challenge

KLASSE has joined a project that guides teachers in dealing with polarization in the classroom. For this purpose, three learning modules have been established, each addressing a specific theme: polarization, authority, and inclusion. The goal of the video is to teach teachers how to handle one of these specific themes.

In overleg met Klasse, werd er gekozen om experts aan het woord te laten. Deze experts geven in de video uitleg over de verschillende thema’s. Tijdens deze interviews maken we gebruik van een green key in onze studio. Dit groene scherm of green screen wordt gebruikt om een bepaalde kleur (meestal groen) te vervangen door een andere achtergrond. In postproductie wordt deze groene achtergrond vervangen door virtuele omgevingen, grafische elementen of andere beelden, waardoor het lijkt alsof de personages of objecten zich op een geheel andere locatie bevinden.

Door een green screen en keying  te gebruiken, konden we voor dit specifieke project ook visuele ondersteuning bieden in beeld, naast de experts. In post-productie werden er stick figures toegevoegd door middel van overlay animatie.

Stick Figures

Stick Figures, also known as stickman, are very simple drawings of a person or animal, composed of basic straight lines and circles. This drawing style is often used to represent the essence of a figure or action without detailed portrayal.

Stick Figure animations are a widely embraced artistic style on the internet, valued for their simplicity. Stick figures began as simple animated GIFs and evolved into complex, full-length videos.

The end result ensures that weighty subjects are conveyed in a manageable and light-hearted manner, catering to the target audience.

The video is being deployed across various social media platforms, targeting teachers, administration, and students.
